Inc. The Association promotes high professional and ethical standards
which serve the interests of the profession and its clients. Excerpts
of the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice Guidelines follow.
Professionalism
Members will maintain the highest standards of professional integrity
in serving their clients in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Members will accept only those assignments that they are qualified
to undertake on the basis of full knowledge of the client situation
and the professional competence and capacity of the consultants involved.
Confidentiality
Members shall regard as totally confidential all information concerning
the business affairs of their clients and of candidates.
Promotion Activities
Members will conduct all firm promotion, public relations and new
business activities in a manner that involves no representation, express
or implied, that are false, deceptive, unsubstantiated, or that otherwise
have a capacity to mislead.
Conflict of Interest
Any business or personal relationships between consultant and candidate
that might affect, or appear to affect, the consultant's objectivity
in evaluating the candidate should be disclosed to the client before
presentation of the candidate.
Recruited Executives
In addition to the above industry guidelines, Ernst David International
considers all individuals recruited by our firm and placed with our
clients as “Off-Limits”, in that we will not recruit such
individuals as long as they are employed by our client organization. |
